The influence of this rare Sherry style brings round yet structured tannins, enriching the spirit with nuanced layers of browned butter, rancio and a delicate saline edge, while preserving the purity of apple at its core. For three generations, the Christian Drouin family has been one of the most respected names in Calvados Pays d’Auge. Established in 1991 on a former stud farm in Coudray-Rabut, near Pont-l’Évêque, the estate has built an exceptional reputation for both innovation and heritage. Housing one of the most comprehensive collections of vintage Calvados—some dating back to 1939—Christian Drouin is often likened to Gordon & MacPhail in the world of whisky.
