This is the first time I’ve bought a rice cooker, and I’m glad YumAsia exists so I could get hold of a Zojirushi one!My first experiences from using it have made me realise that I’ve been cooking rice badly for 25 years. No more! Now I shall eat perfectly cooked rice from this cooker. Somewhat to my amazement, it even made brown rice light and fluffy – a feat I have never come close to achieving.So far I’ve used it to cook sushi rice, white rice and brown rice. All turned out very well with very little effort. The one down side is that it’s slower than cooking rice on the hob (although I haven’t tried the fast setting yet), but that is more than compensated for by the improved flavour and simplicity of operation.All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase, and I fully expect the cooker to last for many years to come – a friend told me he has a 14 year old Zojirushi which is still going strong. Also, the service from YumAsia was excellent and very friendly. Highly recommended!
