2-Zone High-Pressure Furnace for Laboratory Use – Ideal for Controlled Thermal Reactions

$37.67 $73.07
2-Zone High-Pressure Furnace for Laboratory Use – Ideal for Controlled Thermal Reactions Introduction The 2-Zone High-Pressure Furnace is equipped with a high-pressure solenoid valve, pressure sensor, and analog safety protection on the flanges. With up to triple safety protection, you can work with peace of mind. When the pressure inside the chamber exceeds the set value, the solenoid pressure release valve automatically opens to vent the gas, maintaining the pressure inside the tube at the desired level. This furnace can perform heat treatment on samples in high-pressure gas environments, with a maximum temperature of 1150°C. It is ideal for research on superconducting and dielectric materials. Features and Benefits of 2-Zone High-Pressure Furnace Triple safety protection ensure peace of mind during operation. High quality circular heater ensures uniform temperature distribution. Modular design for durability and ease of maintenance. Stabilized pressure setting for safety and reliability. Simple one-touch operation with 15 pre-stored work curves for flexible use. Real-time monitoring of sintering temperature and power consumption, ensuring safety and energy savings. Technical Parameters of 2-Zone High-Pressure Furnace Model HP1200A (ID 36mm, OD60mm) Tmax 1200°C Power Supply AC220V   50HZ Temperature Control Accuracy ±1°C Rated Power 4.0KW Sensor K-type thermocouple Continuous Working Temperature 300~1100°C Tube Size 60 × 1030 mm Dimensions L1300 × D550 × H610 mm Heating Rate 1°C/hr – 20°C/min Temperature and Pressure Allowance The maximum allowable pressure varies with temperature, as shown below: Furnace Temperature Max Pressure in Chamber 0- 600°C ≤ 7MPa 600-800°C ≤ 6MPa 800- 900°C ≤ 3MPa 900- 1000°C ≤ 1MPa (First heat up, then slowly introduce the gas; do not apply the required pressure all at once, as pressure will continue to increase with rising temperature.) The high-temperature high-pressure tube is a consumable part; please replace it promptly if any deformation is observed. Furnace Structure 1.      Dual-layer openable structure for customers requiring rapid cooling, with an outer shell surface temperature below 60°C. 2.      Interior coated with a nano high-temperature aluminum oxide layer to improve heating efficiency. 3.      Openable design for easy loading and tube replacement. Compatible Gases and Crucibles 1.      Supports oxidizing, protective, and inert gases, such as N2, Ar, and He. 2.      To prevent sample contamination, it is recommended to wrap samples in gold or nickel foil and place them in an alumina or quartz boat before inserting them into the furnace tube. Avoid placing samples directly in the high-temperature high-pressure tube without a crucible. Control System 1.      The system can store up to 15 temperature curves, each with up to 30 “temperature-time” segments, eliminating the need to reset different experimental parameters. 2.      Featuring a bilingual (Chinese-English) graphical interface, the 7-inch color touch screen offers intelligent control, real-time heating power display, and nonlinear temperature correction. 3.      Safety functions include over-temperature and over-pressure alarms, thermocouple protection, leakage protection, and differential pressure release. 4.      Triple safety protection: First: Solenoid valve automatically releases pressure when it exceeds the set value. Second: If exhaust is blocked or the solenoid valve fails, heating stops automatically upon reaching the system’s preset pressure limit. Third: In case of sensor contamination or control failure, the analog pressure relay cuts power when pressure reaches the upper safety limit. Heating Element Mo-doped iron-chromium-aluminum alloy Pressure Detection and Control 1.      The high-pressure chamber is equipped with a pressure sensor connected to the control system for real-time display. 2.      A high-pressure solenoid relief valve is mounted on the flange. When the pressure inside the furnace tube exceeds the set value, the solenoid valve will automatically release gas, keeping the chamber pressure within the preset range. The solenoid valve can handle a maximum automatic relief pressure of 15 MPa. When pressure exceeds 15 MPa, manual relief should be used instead of the solenoid valve. High-Pressure Float Flow Meter l  Material: 304 stainless steel with threaded connection l  Pointer display for instantaneous flow rate, 4-20 mA output, 24VDC two-wire system, media: oxygen and nitrogen, working pressure: 3 MPa, flow range: 70-700 ml/min. Flange Sealing 1.      CF flange design with oxygen-free copper seal ring. 2.      Equipped with a 1/4 NPS internal thread interface on the furnace tube flange with high-pressure valves on both ends, and a pressure gauge on the right valve. 3.      Optionally, a torque wrench can be purchased to avoid over-tightening the flange. Special Stainless-Steel Crucible(optional) Net Weight 80kgs Service Support 1-year warranty with lifetime support (warranty does not cover consumable parts such as furnace tubes and seals). Note The high-temperature high-pressure furnace tubes we supplied are made from high-temperature alloy steel, with a maximum temperature resistance of 1150°C and good ductility. When an operational error causes the internal pressure of the chamber to exceed the maximum allowable value (beyond the long-term strength of the alloy tube), the alloy tube will experience creep. Bulging will occur at the weak points, followed by the formation of cracks, which release the gas. There is no risk of high-pressure brittle fracture! Applications The High-Pressure Furnace is designed for advanced material research, especially in superconducting and dielectric materials. Its high-temperature capabilities (up to 1150°C) and precise pressure control make it ideal for heat treatment processes under controlled atmospheres. Include: Synthesis and thermal treatment of superconducting materials Dielectric material research and sintering High-pressure gas reactions and material phase transformations Advanced studies requiring high-temperature stability and precision under varied atmospheres Controlled environment testing for ceramics, composites, and thin films This versatile furnace supports high-pressure experiments and is equipped with safety features to ensure reliable performance for intensive laboratory and industrial research applications.
